Co-Curricular Activities


Co-Curricular activities are important because even though they may not necessarily be a part of the co-curriculum, they are important in giving young men and women the ability to shape themselves to become more well rounded individuals. These are activities through which learner explores one abilities. These activities give them confidence. Students can learn team spirit, bring positive change  in the child, and sharpen their talents. Co-curricular activities keep the students physically active and it is essentially takes place outside a typical pen and pencil classroom experience. It gives the students an opportunity to develop particular skills and exhibit their non-academic abilities.

A Chinese proverb aptly states “Teach me and I will forget. Show me and I might remember, Involve me and I will never forget”. CKM NSS Senior Secondary school strives to enhance the non-academic skills of the students through various clubs. A student can choose the club of their interest.


Temple of arts endeavours to foster talented young individuals to develop their skills by providing systematic  and competent training in the fields of Arts, Languages and Yoga in order to think globally and to value all creations along with their main stream education as part of their co curricular activities. It helps:

They are good exercises and help to build fine, physique for the boys and girls. It makes them mentally alert and physically strong. Further, good health is one of the most important benefits of games and sports. Students learn to cope with difficult situations. By displaying their feats before many spectators, they can overcome their nervousness and gives them energy to learn their lessons well. Games and sports help building a sense of cooperation  and team-spirit in an individual. Sports like cricket, football, etc. are won by the collective efforts of all the members of the team.

Towards the end of the year each club exhibits their creativity through an Annual exhibition, which showcases the innovations and creativity of our students. The school has a well equipped gymnasium to help students in their mental and physical development.
