A logo can communicate the school’s outlook on education and highlight the specialty areas to mould  potential among  students. A school’s logo also helps to foster school spirit. Students become linked to this logo, and often that bond continues long after their graduation. An effective logo  harmoniously bonds a school and its community and becomes their identity. Our school logo has the traditional lamp in the sphere with the Shanti Mantra which bears a priceless message.

The Lamp provides the LIGHT of divinity, wisdom, intellect and symbolizes self-sacrifice. Just as the lamp consumes itself to offer light to the world, it also enlightens the physical and emotional being of an individual. Asatoma Sadgamaya is a Shanti Mantra (Mantra of peace), taken from Brihadaranyaka Upanishads (1.3.28) to invoke peace in and around the individual. The School’s educational policy, “In Pursuit of Excellence” finds its base in the logo which stresses on intellectual excellence that drives away darkness and establishes harmony.

 The lamp within the sphere shows the quest for knowledge which can raise the individual from the  limitations of rituals and bondages into the true light of learning. This learning will make us selfless and help in gaining the true meaning of life in a harmonious way. It will make us rise above the narrow limitations and prejudices of rituals and help meet the challenges of life. Such a liberated individual will become a fair human being, a reformer and leader who will uplift the society and nation from all challenges.

This institution strives to educate the individual and make him seek intellectual, emotional, physical and spiritual enlightenment. The system strives to establish secular education that fights  against society’s ignorant, archaic and barbaric views. The ideology that proper education is as basic as that of the requirement of food, water and shelter is clearly conveyed to the youngsters.  A sincere effort to raise the future citizens to the wonderful realms of thought becomes the motto of the workforce of this esteemed institution.
